FORT LAUDERDALE --On behalf of the PEARR Executive Council and its 86 members, Victoria Dawson, PEARR Founder and President, presented Howard Schulman, Chairman of the Board of Women In Distress of Broward County, with their year end donation check for $7,500 at their outdoor Summer Bash event. These funds will be used to directly support the WID shelter, 24/7 hot line, counseling and educational programs. "It has been such an honor to lead PEARR during its inaugural year and to build a new professionals auxiliary from scratch," Dawson said. "I am thrilled we have raised over $14,500 in our first year and look forward to our future fund raising events led by our new 2007/08 President Charlotte Sundquist".Labels: PEARR Recognition
