Funds raised by PEARR go to Women In Distress of
Broward County, Inc., the only state certified,
nationally accredited, full-service domestic violence
center in the county. Women In Distress provides
victims of domestic abuse with a 24-hour hotline,
shelter, counseling, and educational programs.
Founded in 2006, PEARR: Professionals Educating and Advocating
Respect in Relationships, is the Professionals Auxiliary of Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc..
PEARR provides professional networking opportunities and activities for members, while focusing on healthy relationship education and empowering lives. Some of our events and activites include the Adopt a Shelter Project, PEARR Summer Bash, Live Boldy Art Show and Auction, Second Thursdays Bookclub, networking wine tastings, educational seminars, general membership meetings and more. All the proceeds from our memberships, activities, events, and donations go to support the domestic violence programs and shelters at Women In Distress.
